Privacy Policy

Inland Construction Ltd ("Inland Construction", "we", "us") is a construction development intermediary operating in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. This policy explains what personal information we collect through inlandconstruction.dev and our project-management platform at app.inlandconstruction.dev, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Bahamas Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act.

1. Information we collect

• Enquiry detailswhen you submit our contact form: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, project location, budget range, and message.
• Builder applicationscompany name, contact person, contractor licence number and expiry, NIB registration, trade specialties, crew size, and portfolio links.
• Platform accountsif you become a client or approved builder, we create an account (by invitation only) with your name, email, role, and the project records, documents, messages, photos, invoices, and payment status connected to your project.
• Site activity datafor builder crews using our field app, GPS check-ins are recorded only during working hours (7am–6pm Nassau time) for site-verification purposes.
• Technical datawhen you submit a form we record a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) solely to prevent abuse. Our marketing website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

2. How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals and estimates;
• To vet and onboard builders into our approved network;
• To manage construction projects, milestones, inspections, documents, invoicing, and client updates;
• To send service communications by email, SMS, or WhatsApp (project updates, invoices, signature requests);
• To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in The Bahamas;
• To keep our systems secure and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Where your data lives

Our platform runs on Google Firebase (Google LLC), with data stored on Google Cloud servers located in the United States. Payments are processed by Stripeyour card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Messaging services (SMS/WhatsApp) are delivered through our telecommunications providers. Each provider processes data under its own security and privacy commitments; we list them as sub-processors in our FAQ · Data Processing Agreement.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted. Project records, contracts, and financial documents are retained for at least 7 years, as required for tax, warranty, and legal purposes in The Bahamas. Builder application records are kept while an application is pending and for the duration of any network membership.

5. Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or, where we have no legal obligation to retain it, request deletion. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@inlandconstruction.dev; we respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Access to project data is role-restricted: clients see only their own projects, builders see only the projects assigned to them, and access rules are enforced at the database level, not just in the app. All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), and platform accounts are created by invitation only, there is no self-registration.

7. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults arranging construction work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
